Olympus 18-180mm f/3.5-6.3 Zuiko Digital Lens
This is a great lens which I find I am using more and more. The reason I originally purchased it was that I wanted a lens which would reduce the amount of gear I take on a family day out and this lens effectively replaces the 14-42mm and 40-150mm which were included in the E510 kit. I've had great success with it and due to it's large focal range I've caught shots I would have otherwise have missed. It isn't perfect however, as there is a slight barrel effect on the widest 18mm setting, but unless you are photographing subjects with vertical lines such as architecture or vertical blinds you won't notice. I've seen the lens criticized in reviews for slow auto-focusing in poor light, but I can't say that I've had a particular problem with this and have certainly never missed a shot because of it. One thing to consider is that if you use a 58mm UV filter or similar on your other E-System lenses, you'll need another filter for this lens as it has a 62mm fitting. Other than this, which isn't actually a fault, I can highly recommend this lens.

12 x Dunlop Max Grip Standard Guitar Picks / Plectrums - 0.73mm In A Pick Tin
28. Sep 2016
MaxGrip Picks
Everyone seems to hold a pick differently, but the one thing they seem to agree on, is that they need to be able to hold that pick consistently. The trouble with plain or smooth picks is that they slip around too easily when playing. Dunlop have managed to greatly reduce this slippage by moulding a surface, which is reminiscent of checker plate flooring, into the part of the pick which is held. I've tried all types of pick and I've finally settled on these. I've tried three thickness' of picks; 0.60mm, 0.73mm and 0.88mm, and the more I've used them, the less I've been conscious of trying to regrip a slipping pick in the middle of a riff. My favourite is now the 0.88mm, but I had to work up to it. I'd highly recommend the picks; especially from Dirty Riffs in the great little pick tin, as they are great value for money. Try a tin - you won't be disappointed!

Bottle lights up your life...
Well almost, but they are great novelty lights that actually work. The brown sets a nice warm glow and the green one lights the surrounding area with a pale green aura. Good for setting the ambiance anywhere that alcohol is consumed...
