Fantastic. If you are into high end, and want the best of the best.....
I have one of these in the center of a pair of IL-60s. The size is it's only downfall, it is a LARGE center channel speaker. For theater use, it is fantastic though, a perfect compliment to the Interlude 60's. I've never heard another center channel that even comes close, except maybe the Alpha 36c, but it's also a 3 way with pretty much the same drivers.

Great little bookshelf!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I bought a pair of these for rear surrounds in a 7.1 setup.
When they came in, I hooked them up as mains and blasted some stereo music thru them. Wow, oh wow. Very nice, big sound coming out of these moderately small bookshelves. Bass was accurate and plentiful, not as much as the alpha 40's or 50's I have, but hey, these are only bookshelves! Very Impressive though, They seemed to be more potent than my Interlude 10's, even though the cabinet and driver are of very close construction. I would recommend these to anyone looking to fill a small room with clean, loud sound. I'm sure they will work great as the little bit of rear fill in my theater. They are a little small if you're looking for lots of output in a larger room, but you should be shopping for towers or big dog bookshelves or floorstanders if that's what you're after. For a smaller living room, bedroom, etc, these will do you just fine. The bass extension of these little guys is very good, but you'll need a subwoofer for serious home theater use in a typical application.
I decided to get them because of the alpha 50's, 40's, and 37C in my theater, and upgrading to 7.1. These match their bigger brothers nicely, and the CMMD performs in all the speakers I have them in. (Interludes and Alphas)
I like that they can be bi amped, but I'm not using these for mains so I don't personally need the option. Love the looks and CMMD drivers.
I DISLIKE the "wave guide", more of just a single bar covering the big 1" tweet. The Infinity Beta series improved upon this with double bar and slightly horn loaded. That being said, these look better, and sound very open in the highs, however you're loosing some protection from stray fingers.

It offers a nice heavy sound, without being as metallic as the MT-2 metal zone. It's just a different sound. A different, very useable, very good sound.
I like having more than one sound, do you?
All Boss pedals are built like tanks.
I can't give battery life because I don't use batteries.
Expect it to last forever.
