The Idea Book?
My husband loves to surprise me with vow renewal ceremonies (he's romantic that way). This year I thought I'd surprise him with some creative ideas for a unique anniversary. This book didn't have them.
It's a good standard book with basic ideas but I found other books much more creative. Perhaps this book would work better with people less experienced at celebrating anniversaries.

Critical Readfng Series: Heroes
So many students don't know what a real hero is. Use this series to show them what it really takes to be a hero.
I discovered this reading series a few years ago and found it perfect for my students.
The stories are interesting, factual,and informative. Many of them lead to all sorts of discussions and debates.
Each reading can be timed so students can document their reading speed.Charts are provided to help with the timed reading.
The readings are leveled. There's a practice reading and three different levels of readings which increase in complexity and depth at each level.
I recommend the critical reading series for teachers of 7th grade and up.
Unfortunately, the series can be hard to find. I've had to get used copies of several of the books. This seller's copies had marks on the outside but none in the readings themselves.
