No comparison
I did not watch this series when it was on television, came across it
on sale as a complete season so what the heck. I come from a very
totally disfunctional family and this show can not compare. It shows
how much each family lives for telling secrets about eachother. I can
not believe that mother would be so completly involved with each members
lives. It was easy to follow and very entertaining. You certainly get
your moneys worth watching. I watched the making trailers and found them
very worth watching, it explained about the food they ate and how much
effort went into set with every detail. I enjoyed so much that I am now
into season 3.

Fast times at Ridgemont High
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I saw this movie as a teen ager when the movie first came out. You could nothing but laugh because it was about us. Now as an adult I needed to laugh and laugh I did. Were we ever that young? Were we ever that stupid and silly?
It is amazing that everything in the movie actually happened to us. Everyone would be able to relate to a character in this movie. Watch it and pick someone!

Six Feet Under & Above the Brim show
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I never watch shows at the time they are airing. Don't have the time yet,
when I do make the time I jump in with both feet. I don't pay attention to
critics, or reviews. I make up my own mind. I sat myself down one morning and
started watching season 1. I loved how not morbid it was. Unlike Dexter and
Nip Tuck, this leaves you with the premis and leaves the gory details to your
own imagination. Great story to follow. I can feel for all the characters except the mousie Mom. I hear that in future shows she comes into her own and lets you believe in her (in time) I can see this happening. It is mostly filmed
in Pasadena, CA and being from there most of my life, I enjoy seeing the scenary from the freeways to byways. I am dying for more and can't wait for
second season. If a show does not grab me right off, I lose interest. I started this show at 9:00 a.m. and finshed the entire season by 8:30p.m. with
a 30 minute break for lunch. I give it thumbs up!!
