GM AC Delco motor
When doing restoration work, sometimes parts can become difficult to find. Often, there is a part that "fits" your application, or will work with "minor modification". When you order it, you cross your fingers that it will suit your needs. What a pleasant surprise to find this motor, an exact manufacturing component, from an automobile that is no longer in production, and 40 years old. When I put the new and old, side by side, aside from the dirt and faded paint, they are virtually identical. And that is pure joy, when it comes to doing a true restoration. Nothing is better than getting a brand new fresh part, that fits correctly and does the job it was intended. No modifications required with this one, and extremely happy with the fast shipment as well.
