The brackets are not accurate right angles and I broke one while trying to see if I could bend one to a proper right angle. I then had to cut the other piece to match the broken one and installed in a smaller doorway. The factory casting needs filing off and repainting if you are fussy. I'll be removing them and doing this in a few weeks. The 'cast iron' is not as strong as it looks so beautiful careful if trying to work with it. Overall a reasonably good looking product for the price.
