I should have read reviews, although only one review I read was correct. It is like sand paper. I actually soaked it for 2 days in baking soda then washed it then soaked it again in vinegar for 2 days and washed it again. Washed and dryer it at least 15 times no exaggeration. It is finally to the point I can at least stand it on the bed. Still not at the point of softness you’d expect. Color was spot on though, the color is beautiful.
