Ich kannte Alligatoah bereits zuvor. Das ist ohne Zweifel die erste "mainstreamfähige" Platte von ihm, aber das macht sie nicht minderwertiger. Die Tracks sind gut durchdacht und beschäftigen sich durchgehend mit den "Triebwerken" der Menschen - Beispielhaft an einem jungen Mann, der eine ziemlich eigenartige Geschichte erlebt. Das Album hat wieder die für Alligatoah typischen Gitarren-Riffs in den Beats und diverse, eher nebensächliche Soli gibt es ebenfalls. Alligatoah bleibt im Grunde seinem Stil treu, klingt aber summa summarum etwas poppiger, als gewohnt. Mir gefällt es aber sehr gut, darum meine Empfehlung :)
Alligatoah is the project of German rapper and producer Luke Strobel. Initially influenced by the battle-rap stylings of the Aggro Berlin collective, he invented two different aliases for his Alligatoah moniker: rapper and lyricist Kaliba 69 and producer DJ Deagle. While still in high school, the ambitious Strobel released his debut album, ATTNTAAT, in 2006 followed by the two mixtapes Sleeping Pills, Red Wine Pts. 1 and 2. In 2008, he issued his second album, In the Name of God, before finally graduating...
'Triebwerke'bringt auf seine ganz eigene Art sehr viel Spaß beim Hören! Alligatoah macht clever verpackte Texte, die tatsächlich einem tieferen Sinn folgen, deshalb erachte ich das Album als sehr empfehlenswert!!
