as usual, I am not going to give a resume of the story, which you at amazon or other places in the net. Just this: it is christmas time in a small town, a man in a santa claus costume has been killed, a boy who saw that thinks that it is santa claus himself, he prays hard that santa claus shall come back, archangel raziel fullfils his wish, but not perfect at all, he resurges this santa claus, and together with him all dead bodies from the churchyard... This eighth book of Christopher Moore is again different. Similar to his former vampire story, this is the first zombie story I have really enjoyed. I guess that the reason is always the same: although the roles are uniquely crazy and overdrawn, you can imagine that they all are neighbors or colleagues and that you have already met them in the subway or supermarket. Furthermore it seems that each character is a parody on the modern society. Nevertheless, it is a cool story with a high tension bow and lots of humorous spots which cause gorgeous laughing bursts. Not the very best work of the master of bizarre humor Christopher Moore, therefore just 4 stars, but however highly recommended! regards, skaiVollständige Rezension lesen
