Absolutely beautifully written, like poetry. I felt really emotional reading this book and I couldn't put it down.

Writing a novel to cover the sad history of Palestine and Israel is very worthwhile and will inform readers. However, I found the writing rather tedious and I was skipping through to finish the book. I gather others liked it . I knew the basic tragic history already. If readers do not perhaps it will hold their attention more.

Raising the profile of Palestinians is great but this is written in English for English speaking market. Plot is so predictable and writing style juvenile at best. There has to be something more challenging in style and content surely
