Anyone considering buying these be aware that they are not like the single 400/1000 8mm thick version which is a good item. They are thin strips of metal impregnated with diamond on a plastic hollow/ ice cube tray type construction and flex if they are not on a solid base. I got them on offer and paid £35 which is all they are worth, don't pay any more. You are better off buying the single double sided item on its own stand which is a great tool.

I agree with stephenh7172, this set is flimsy and rubbish, should've realised they would be at this price. I've bought Failthful diamond stones in the past, which are pretty good so thought these would be too, nope. If all you want to do is sharpen your kitchen cutlery then they might be ok. If you want to sharpen your plane irons and chisels forget it, go for the double sided Faithful diamond stone instead. Not FFX fault, I've bought from them for quite a few years, they're great
