Awesome rc, very very fast. Product was in excellent shape. Would deffinetly buy from seller again. Be careful if you get a jato. This rc is for experienced drivers. Nitro rc's require some maintenance also. You don't want to just put it in a corner when you are done using it. This was my first nitro and I wish I had of got something not as fast, I've had minor issues everytime I have run the jato. Apparently I'm not that experienced. The jato seems to be made very well and performance was deffinetly in mind when traxxas designed it. Over all I'm very happy with the jato, it will let you know real quick if you are capable of driving an advanced rc. Good luck if you decide to start out with a jato, (you will need it, LOL)
I bought a Traxxas t-maxx its a lot of fun. traxxas says its top speed is 45mph then I saw the jato on e-bay it tops out around 65mph so I bought one its crazy fast. You should have lots of room for the jato like a field I ran mine the first time on my dead end street I hit 2 parked cars and a tree. the jato can handle alot of abuse its very tough. I hit the tree wide open all it did was scratch the body and break the front a arm. A arms don't cost very much you can buy them on ebay or your local rc hobby shop. My 12 year old nephew and and his friend took the jato and the t-maxx into a field set up a 4 foot ramp and jumped both trucks until they burned thru 2 quarts of fuel and never had a problem I strongly recommend both trucks. my next traxxas is going to be a boat
Great car. Lots of speed. Plenty of upgrades available to make it faster like carbon fiber chassis and links, dual exhaust, larger gears or larger rear tires for top speed. Different style body for the type of car you like. I painted mine glossy black and put a little Firebird on the hood to match my Trans Am and call it Mini Me. The remote start has all my friends trying to find one. We all go out and race to see who gets the crown and see who can keep the title the longest. The winner has to be bowed to and called JK (Jato King)until a new King wins. Had the crown for a year until we raced and had a back tire blowout. Its all fun and bragging rights.
This truggy is extremely fast. Not for beginners. You need to familiarize yourself well with the manual. Requires a lot more maintenance and preparation then an electric. But it's worth it. It will blow away most electrics. A blast to drive on asphalt. For off road you'll need an extra set of knobby tires. Very high build quality. Speeds in excess of 60-65 if you have plenty of room.
