I bought this little older style iPod to replace one that "died " on me in a thunderstorm!! Being an OAP - I do not want an all dancing model with a dozen totally inappropriate applications and functions. I want to keep using my iPods purely for listening to audio-books and this is ideal for that. It has a simple and clear dial and an easy scrolling wheel and would be ideal for the older user - in all a perfectly well balanced and fumble-free adjunct to walking or gardening - well for me at least! So much so - I bought another one - as I realize that these nice simple ones will become scarce and I couldn't do without it!! ENJOY - they are worth their weight in gold!
