I'm an 8-10 handicap player so I was at first hesitant to go with a game improvement club because I thought my ego couldn't handle it. But once I saw and hit them, I said screw it and bought these. They hit the ball far and high and still feel like butter. They look amazing and after getting them bent 1 degree flat I'm dialed in. Been shooting consistent 70s.

I just decided to take the leap into blades, although many would say they are reserved for Low handicappers, pros, or people who drive really nice cars....Don't listen to these types. Of course they are hard to hit, that is how they where designed. I am not a golf instructor or equipment expert so I wouldn't dare tell anyone they weren't good enough to hit these or tell someone to go get a set and trash their cavity backs. The mp-14's are great to improve your game, I hit them on the range and keep my cavity backs( hogan apex edge pro's) for the course. Having said that, these are great blades to try out. Take care of them at the range, don't abuse them and if you don't like them put them back on eBay, clean them up and take some good pics and you might end up making a few dollars( or losing a few, I guess). Anyways, the cost shouldn't be that much relative to what we spend on golf. These look really cool BTW, the stuff that is out there these days is too flashy for me. One final note, for the longest time, blades were the only choice, no matter your skill level and look at all the great ball strikers they produced. -don't you love how some people take every opportunity to tell you how much you suck? There can't be that many out there who can't hit these with practice....Vollständige Rezension lesen
I'm 22 years old and am just getting back into golf. I played a few rounds in middle school and gave it up until a few months ago. Though I've hit a few different brands of cavity backs and a few different brands of blades, the only clubs I'd ever owned were my grandfathers 1970-something Lynx (blades). I'm not sure what my handicap is and I've only played 6 or 7 rounds in the past year. I'm still learning, but I've shot two 89s and shot a 39 on 9 holes the other day with the old Lynx. I decided to try blades because the best golfers that I know (and most serious) recommended blades for the feedback and the consistency. I was scared of the Mizunos because of all the people saying not to play them if you're not a low handicapper, but only YOU know how serious you are about the game and how much work you're willing to put in. I just bought a set of Mizuno Mp-14s off of ebay, with precision rifle 6.5 stiff shafts and new tour velvet grips and they cannot be put into words!!! Don't ever let someone else tell you that a club is not for you! The feedback from these irons is priceless. When you hit off center shots you can feel it, but the ball still goes almost full distance. When you hit them on the sweet spot they feel like a million bucks!!! With the old Lynx I hit my 7 iron 150, but with the MP-14s I hit the 7 iron 170! My 8 iron went from 130 to 150, my 9 iron went from 120 to 140, and my wegde went from 105 to 125! I bought them for $200 and wouldn't take a dime less than $800 for them! These are the ultimate game improving club. They show each and every mistake you make in your swing. They won't give you feel forgiveness, but they will give you a little sweet spot forgiveness. They look great, they feel phenomenal, and the feedback is soooo helpful for those of us who want to perfect our swings and our bottoming out skills. Buy a set before they become extinct and play them. If you don't absolutely love em, put em right back on ebay and someone like me will snatch em up!!! Goodluck!Vollständige Rezension lesen
I've had Mizuno wedges and irons in the past and they never disappoint. Weighted just right, consistent, accurate, etc etc. Highly recommended. You don't have to be a scratch player to play them!

purchased this iron set as a secondary set and as a alternative to my primary cavity back clubs which I had custom built for me by a local golf pro. I have been an avid golfer for over sixteen years now and golf on the average four rounds a week from May through October. I wanted to try these clubs because of the reputation of the Mizuno brand and couldn't be happier with my choice. I have used everything from Hogans to Clevelands and everything in between (even Nikes) and nothing I've ever had compares to these MP 14's. These are the most accurate weapons I've pulled from my bag and I've now elevated them to my primary clubs. They're not for the beginner because they won't forgive your mistakes and the heads are probably small to you, but if you're a mid or low handicapper you'll never want to use another club. They're similar to my Hogan PT3's in feel but have more distance and a better head weight. If you're ready to advance to hitting blades make the MP14 your irons of choice. you won't regret it.Vollständige Rezension lesen
