I had an iphone 5s until recently. It got slower and slower and the battery was struggling to keep up with demands. Time for an upgrade, but I like the small size of the 5s in an age when phones are getting bigger and bigger. So the SE fitted the case I had for the 5s, BUT it is noticeably faster and yes, the battery life is excellent (it sees me over to the next day). And the price made this very good value for the phone's speed and capability. Touch ID is good - and now I can try out ApplePay. The camera is noticeably better than the 5s

A really great phone with fantastic specifications. Confident sound with a good pair of headphones. Good sound stage and separation of instruments. Nice and compact, fits well in your back, front or in a shirt pocket. Easy to use key function buttons in a multiple of ways. An insane range of apps to download. A lovely style that combines and crosses the Apple look of old and recent. It uses the concept of form and function to marvellous effect. Great screen that is crystal clear and of a comfortable size without giving to much eye strain with prolonged use.

A very nice compact phone great size as I prefer the smaller screen lightweight and very stylish Great security feature with finger print touch also features Apple Pay and very fast at loading apps and for getting onto web sites also has 4G love this phone

I fail to understand Apple’s reasoning in discontinuing this phone. It is pocket sized, robust, fast and reliable. Like a lot of people I know, all I want is a phone, not a mobile entertainment center or an overpriced fashion accessory with bells and whistles. I make calls, send texts, take the odd snap and play some music. This phone is just perfect
