This item has been successfully used in a greenhouse for the past few weeks and has performed faultlessly. The only issue I had, albeit a minor one was that I expected to reset the red hand by rotating one of the centre knobs. That is true but it also rotates the complete upper brass rim as well and as I was grasping the unit in one hand including the brass rim,I was at a loss as to why the red hand didn't move. Once the red hand is located in line with the black pointer it is easy to shift the blue hand into the same position to reset the thermometer for its next cycle. Both the temperature and humidity were checked against other instruments and found to be accurate. In all, a good looking, well made and practical item.

The product looks good and, in my opinion, is smarter than other products in the same price range. The display is easy to read. The humidity reader is an added bonus. My husband finds the max and min needles a little tricky to move one needle without nudging the other. So perhaps someone with less nimble fingers may struggle. I manage fine. I bought the product from the manufacturer. It arrived in good time and was well packaged, important factors as I had it delivered out of the UK. Great value product, priced well.

Nice and big to read. No batteries! Does the job. Yes it is a bit fiddly to reset the max marker, but it's the min I'm most concerned about and that one is easy to turn on the central knob. It's proved to me that tomatoes can survive 2°C.

Looks good, not your average thermometer by any means. Want something different ? Try one of these. Easy high/low fingers to especially check that night time cold spell. Suits me.

This bimetalllic strip themometer has added value because of the simple and reliable mechanism which retains both maximum and minimum temperatures. it looks well,is robustly made and should give many years of suervice without maintenacne or batteries. The humidity meter is an added bonus.
