Another excellent reel from shimano nearly as good as the Xt series i got 2 of these for smaller waters that don't need the line capacity, there's not much difference between these and the Xt series the main thing been the spare spool is not metal but plastic but i think there still up to the job, ts well worth shopping around for these reels as i got mine at nearly half price at £48.99 each a real bargain! Again another reel built to last a life time

I have been using okuma reels for a couple of years because they were cheaper than Shimano but springs in the reel kept braking, so I bought a Shimano Baitrunner this time and the build quality is miles better, have used it 4 times since I bought it and difference is very noticeable, you only get what you pay for.

I’ve used the reel 3 times and it works really good. It’s easy to use and good to set the bait runner tension different to the main drag.
