A very sturdy product but unfortunately wouldn’t work in very soft ground. I needed it to anchor my rotary clothes drier in the ground but it just listed to one side every time the wind blew. Had to concrete the drier in eventually so the spike was redundant.

Good idea, good price, however the flip up handles for screwing into the ground are too short and poorly attached to the unit, halfway into soft ground and one handle broken. I had to finish the job with a stilson wrench. This was bought to support a bird feeder station, would not be suitable for a wash line

Easy to use and handy handles to fit even though needs lot of effort if ground dry. Obviously I needed to get the next size up as with a full load on the lines it tended to move.
