So far, I'm loving my decision to purchase the playstation (gently used) vita. It's in great condition. I love the crisp display, the beautiful graphics and how light it is in the hand. I have a great variety of taste in game genres, so the games that are available for the vita are fine for me. I also like that it has the remote play feature (since I also have a PS4), and that you can play games from previous playstation generations. It's a cool, little nifty device and adds nicely to my collection of consoles and handhelds. Very happy with purchase!!

I love handheld gaming and the Vita is amazing. Great graphics, a pretty extensive library is available through the PS store - plus because of the age of the console the game downloads are pretty cheap and the PS store still has weekly sales for PS Vita/PS3 crossplay and PSOne classics. It's very light and compact but doesn't feel cheaply made. Pretty cool features like the touchscreen, back panel sensor pad, bluetooth, wifi, cameras, dual analog control. If you're a PS fan and thinking about picking one up - definitely do it! I haven't put mine down since I got it. The main negative is it can be hard/expensive to get hold of the physical games but you just have to be patient and hunt around on the internet. I picked up a 32gb memory card and out of about 50 games I own only 13 are physical and the memory is only half full. So it may be expensive initially for the memory card but definitely no problem.Vollständige Rezension lesen

The ps vita arrived in very great condition almost like new. Had no scratches on the screen, the analog sticks were perfectly fine, has some scratches on the back but that doesn’t bother me. My only issue I had was that a portion of the screen came with a yellow tint on the top. But it is not too much of a problem and can be fixed with a screen replacement. Lastly, the cartridge flap where you put the games does not close fully but still functions good. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase although I wish it didn’t have a yellow tint on screen it’s not some thing we have control over and can be fixed easily. Console looks almost brand new minus the scratches in the back.

ayStation Vita excels with its excellent graphics, a superb 5in screen, dual-analogue and touch screen controls and a host of other goodies. The PlayStation Vita narrows the gap between console and handheld, and reminds you why a dedicated mobile gaming device is a good idea. PlayStation Vita design The physical design is an evolution of the PSP Slim and Lite, the front dominated by the whopping 5-inch screen, with the dual analog pads to either side, the D-Pad on the left and the face buttons on the right, in a layout that will immediately seem natural to anyone familiar with a dual-shock 3 controller. Of course, PlayStation Vita has only two shoulder buttons, modeled in clear pespex to maintain the unit’s elegant lines, but - as we’ll see later - this is less of an issue than it might seem. Vita feels light and comfortable in your hands, and while the position of the sticks takes a little getting used to, it’s a very easy handheld to use for long periods - much more so than the rather cramp-inducing 3DS. Sony did a good job at giving you a lot of useful items in the 1st edition bundle. You get of course the Vita itself, a very nice carrying case, power adapter, memory card and a pack in game. I was slightly disappointed in the fact that Sony didn't include something a little more beefy game wise like Wipeout or even swung for the fences with Uncharted as the pack in. The PS Vita at first glance looks just like its predecessor and it took me awhile to figure out that all of the buttons and switches have been moved. It doesn't feel heavier than the original PSP but at the same time it doesn't feel plastic like and cheap. This system isn't for the casual Angry Birds or Plants vs Zombies player. I was impressed that upon start up, there was at least a good 3/4 charge to get you off and running. Set Up Despite some negative reviews that claims that it took forever to get setup, I only took 15 minutes to get up and running and although I got caught in a snag trying to log in to my PSN account, I found that if you go thru the trial period, the Vita will allow you to finish the set up and then you can go back into the settings and put your PSN info in. I had no problems connecting the Vita with my home network and since I have no plans on using AT&T, I had no problems hooking the Vita up to my mifi device. The touchscreen is very responsive and the screen itself is bright, thus far, I have had no problems at all jumping right in. Near is setup and could prove useful as well as Google maps although it won't replace your GPS. Netflix isn't available yet but from what I hear, it will be out next week at launch. However Sony's video rental service is already up and running should you want to get some movies on the go. Playstation store Going into the store, I noted that it's sectioned off for Vita games only, PSP games and PSP minis. If you aren't all that crazy about the launch lineups or want some older games, they are all there for you. My only concern however is that 1. There were hardly any FPSes in the store. Games like Medal of Honor and Call of Duty weren't in the store on the Vita side. 2. Some games like God of War: Ghost of Sparta were still full priced at 30 bucks. I am hoping that as time goes on, Sony starts to cut prices for their PSP games especially if they are asking consumers to spend that same amount on PS Vita titles. Portability Me not being one of those people that feels like I have to have the Vita in my pocketVollständige Rezension lesen
Mine has a $40 sticker instead of a $55 sticker. It includes a 8GB memory card so that I can use psvita immediately out of the box. If I sign up for 3G from AT&T, I will get a free download game. The psvita has already frozen from unexpected error for several times since I bought it. After rebooting the system, it will be fine. The battery life is short for handheld gaming devices. After I play DOA5+ for 3-4 hours, the battery will be drained and required charging. Personally, I like psvita for having two analog sticks, which is useful for many games, whereas my Nintendo 3DS has only one flat, thumb analog disc, which is not very useful for fighting game like DOA Dimensions. The sound output is very good only if we use a headphone. A good headphone on psvita can deliver a very strong bass. The built-in speakers next to the 2 analog sticks do not have any bass and is hard to tell the sound direction. I bought psvita mainly for playing DOA5+. psvita has a significantly better graphic (resolution-wise) and bigger screen than my Nintendo 3DS; of course, psvita does not support 3D graphics and 3D photo capture. The resolution of DOA5+ during any fight is lowered to preserve the frame rate, and the difference is not noticeable during the fight but is noticeable if we capture a still picture; otherwise, all the movies and pre-fight scenes are in full resolution without detectable pixelation. psvita is compatible with PS3. psvita can be linked to any PS3 as a controller or to back up pictures/data. psvita can also be linked to a PC to back up pictures/data. Many games, such as DOA5+, can be "cross-played" on psvita and PS3 at the same time. For DOA5+, I can cross-played with even the XBOX360 users as well. Rumors says that psvita will be compatible with PS4, and ALL (?) PS4 games will be playable on psvita, so it is a good investment to get a psvita. Just like PS3 and Wii, psvita is gear towards hardcore handheld gamers while 3DS is gear towards kids/amateur gamers, respectively.Vollständige Rezension lesen
