I needed a cheap iPhone with at least a couple of years of latest iOS software updates to come, as I am an app tester and need to test on an iPhone with the latest iOS. Great price for what I bought. The battery life isn't great, as you would expect in a 3-year-old Apple phone, but I don't carry it around with me, it can stay on charge for when I need it.
