Great head phones, with one complaint, the voice changing feature is evidently no longer available for this product. This was NEVER mentioned in the product description. I bought these phones SPECIFICALLY for the voice changing application for my grand children's amusement for Halloween. TRUTH IN ADVERTIZING GUYS, TRUTH IN ADVERTIZING!!! I had to down load the voice changing software elsewhere. Maybe it was a seldom if ever application for most, but someone really dropped the ball when "accuracy" in product description is, shall we say, "INNACCURATE?"

Pro: Good gamer/gaming features. Voice effects (Win), swivel boom mic, very long cord. Con: Volume scroll wheel doesn't give feedback. Low volume, no OSX support. Reviewing as product designed, from the point of view of a customer who paid MSRP for it, and the expectations that goes with it. Then it is a far better than average gaming headphone. Easily destroy other loud colored gaming headset out there. It's features and overall design did take gaming and gamers into consideration. Buttons are conveniently located. Swivel and flexible LED lit boom mic is fantastic. Adjustment is good. And the simulated surround effects is usable and good overall. As for the missed; the volume is noticeably low (on a '14 MBP). Headset a bit too heavy, it's weight becomes noticeable after only an hour use. Individual headphone doesn't turn flat or turn at all. the adjustment isn't enough. Lacking horizontal/width adjustment. Sounded tinny at time. At full MSRP plus tax and shipping. This isn't cheap. So having a certain expectation to go with that price tag would deemed reasonable. Ultimately, this is when this brilliant device faltered. Using the total amount spent for a retail set. You can get a much higher quality, DJ/Studio quality stand alone (kickass) headset. Then with money to spare for a high quality dedicated microphone. Reviewing from the point of view of a customer who paid far below retail price for an used unit and all the expectations that goes with it. (I paid less than $50 USD for an used unit). This is an amazing gaming headset. fantastic features and great surround sound effect.Vollständige Rezension lesen
It really depends a lot on how you can use these headphones. But personally I find them comfortable, they do not squeeze as much as I have seen in videos of product reviews. The pads are very soft and comfortable, and the sound is not particularly accentuated in bass like the Kraken, but the 7.1 channel effect is nice and satisfactory, in my opinion they are worth it. In my case I will use them for movies, music, videos, recordings. Everything except video games, just what they were intended for. I spend a lot of time with these mfk* in my ears and I don't feel tired. I´m 6' tall and 100kg weight, i know when a headset is tight! Which means that many of those reviews I've seen on youtube are pure improvisation. Unfortunately this model was discontinued. I had a hard time finding them. All for thinking too much about acquiring them when they were cheaper. Be happy and don´t smoke pot or sniff anything but clean air.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Sound quality is great but low compared to other of same price. The G/Mic buttons are easy to push. Mic picks up my voice great. The overall headset is comfortable to wear.

If you're looking for a HRTF 3D audio headset, search no more. This thing is rugged, comfortable and has a hell of a sound for it's really small price tag. It is as USB only device and, as such, works as as external USB audio device. Nice response in any frequency and no clipping on bass. 3D audio is obtained by the software in your system. In windows the magic is done by Logitech's gaming software. In OSX you get it bundled with the system. Any game or softwara using OpenAL takes full advantage of its sound. Same goes for Linux. OpenAL or Pulse audio does the job nicely. All buttons work out of the box nicely in Debian 8 (Jessie) linux. Those who dislike ALSA and are willing to use with OSS4 will have to sweat a little, but it's totally worth it. It's good to remember that the 3D sound in OSX and linux will work with any headphone as long as the system is properly configured (HRTF in OSX's Hajo's Headphone Enhancer or linux's PulseAudio), but to get a good immersive experience the sound quality must be good enough.Vollständige Rezension lesen
