1. The model supplied was black and silver, not just black. 2. I bought the model because my old one of ten or more years was literally coming apart but was still soldiering on. It still is but needs replacement. 3. I still have lots of work for it to do on 2g although I now have a Smart Phone too. 4. It is small and compact and will tuck into my shirt chest pocket. Most, but not all of it's features are the same between the two Nokia 6300 machines. 5. The new one does not flash indicator lights like the old one when you have a message waiting which is a bit of a disappointment. The new one works slightly differently to the old one but makes a very good replacement. 6. If I get ten years service with this new mobile My admiration will be surpassed.

This is a brand new genuine Nokia mobile phone (unlocked). It is small and robust with all the recognised features and functions. Easy to set-up and use. Bought as a 'cheap' replacement but really is tremendous value costing approximately a third or less than when first marketed. Great value.

Will take some time to get used to as arranged differently to previous Nokia phone. Have not tried most features yet. Although phone is hardly used (only few texts so far) battery only lasts about 36 hours after being fully charged.

the nokia 6300 is very compact slim mobile,it has all the usual bits on it,seems to have a long battery cycle,very pleased by the phone and price.

I ordered this phone because I have been using one for a lot of years and it has been very good but the case and screen have seen better days. On receiving the new 6300 I used it for a day and the battery seemed to discharge a lot quicker than my old phone so I put it on charge but it would not charge up so I put the battery in my old phone to recharge which worked ok. So rather than mess about returning new phone I have used the case, buttons and screen on the internals of my old phone. If I had known the problems I was going to have I would have just bought the parts I needed to repair my old 6300 which would have been cheaper.
