I needed a replacement for my 13 year old 6230i which had developed a bad screen after maybe dropping 40 times onto roads and pavements , but I did not want a smart phone. This Nokia 6230i was delivered in 2 days and was well packed. The camera port is not as optically true as my original (2004) and the external headphone contacts show slight signs of use. Otherwise the phone and battery appeared to be new with no wear showing internally or to the casing .The internal date is 06-2007. The battery appears to be a genuine Nokia in the original packet with the hologram showing the Nokia 1,2,3 and 4 dots but made in China . However after 3 charge / discharge cycles it only allows about 18 hours operation on standby - so maybe a proper new one would be better. My old battery still gives about 45 hours (was around 168 hrs in 2004). The phone works fine with my Vodafone PAYG sim card, so overall this is real bargain if you just need a small simple robust phone for calls and texts.Vollständige Rezension lesen

I bought this as a second phone to use in my car as the car was set up to use it and I am always forgetting my iPhone . This new phone is really excellent and exceeds my expectations and at the price is fantastic value.

Got this phone for a friend who had previously had this model. It is his favourite phone because it is uncomplicated and has a useful calendar. He lives on the canal and he can program it to remind him to attend to maintenance jobs that he routinely needs to do.

I have an elderly dyslexic 83 year old mother who cannot use anything other than this phone. When her old one finally broke we tried unsuccessfully three phones that are aimed at the elderly market and ultimately turned to e as to find a replacement Nokia. If the phone gets used ten times a year it will be a lot, but she is very happy to have something familiar in her handbag

Small, light basic phone with a good battery life. Ideal if you don't need a smartphone. I've had this model number since it was launched by Nokia - probably 10 years !
