Unlike what some idiots might think, - and thus get salty when they figure this out after the fact - everything requires 64bit windows, or linux (SteamOS is a nice alternative, but takes some getting used to), if you are still running 32bit windows today then your first priority should be to upgrade windows, microsoft also has stopped all support of windows 7 and windows 8.1 since they want to push everyone onto windows 10 (you no longer really have a choice, windows 7 and 8.1 will be fine for a few months but as the code gets older and exploits are found they will not be fixed nor patched, hence windows 10 was free, and is still technically free as microsoft have not enforced the COA key requirements as yet), kinguin has good prices for OEM versions of win10 64bit at around £30-ish, and the biggest boost to preformance you'll get it being able to have the now minimum (and for the moment max requirement, as all new games now require around 8gb of ram to run) requirement of 8gb of ram as 32bit windows limits you to a maxinum of 4gb ram. The card is good enough to play current games but with only 2gb of vram don't expect anything special. If you just want something for light gaming and pc tasks in general such as the internet then this is a good modern card to get, for anything else I'd suggest at the very very least the 4gb version but really you should save the extra and go for at least an RX470 if not an RX480, and the RX570/580 are now available.Vollständige Rezension lesen
