Melita Mill & Brew Coffee Maker
Our old coffee maker had broke down and we were shopping for a new one. We imagine ourselves as coffee connoisseurs buying the best organic coffee beans from the health food store, grinding and immediately making the coffee for superb freshness and taste. We looked at a number of makes and models and decided on the Melita Mill & Brew. We liked the fact that it grinds and brews and is programmable. We were somewhat hesitant because one review said it was so terribly noisy. Apparently that person never ground their own coffee as grinders do make a certain amount of noise. But I have found the Melita to be exceptionally quiet as grinders go. The coffee is great and you can change the grind, its easy to clean and so easy to operate. I owned a Melitta Mill & Brew for about five years and was very happy with it. One day the latch, that holds the top shut over the brew area broke. So, I had to get a new coffee maker or wait until I could get a part from Salton. I opted to get a new coffee maker. I went every where trying to find a new one and could not find it in any local store. Bummer! It just so happened that Target had a Mr. Coffee Grind & Brew on sale so, I bought it, took it home, cleaned it and made some coffee. Whoa! It was undrinkable and after re-cleaning the damn thing three times and trying three pots of coffee I returned it and ordered a Melitta Mill & Brew. It really is worth the wait. There are other coffee makers out there that grind and brew for a lot more money and some of them have the same grinding, ... Melitta Mill & Brew Coffee Maker
Makes a great cup of coffee. This is my 3rd machine. Lasts about 2 years then plastic parts in the lid break. Still the best one I've found. This time I'm going to try to buy a new lid and more wire baskets.

I love the coffee maker. I have read alot of reviews about the other coffee makers and then read the reviews for the Salton. I can understand why everyone likes it so well. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
