A lovely little DVD set comprising of three discs (The third being a documentary on slasher films). One for horror fans/collectors this is the classic once banned 'Last House On The Left'. One of the better sleaze slasher flicks from the era with some good acting and great direction from the legendary Wes Craven (The Hills Have Eyes, Nightmare On Elm Street, Scream). You must bare in mind that Last House was made in the early 1970's so may appear a little dated in todays standards, but that is why we love them right! The cover does boast 'UNCUT' but I doubt that there will ever be a 'fully' uncut release, like alot of films of the time (which even without the cuts would appear tame to the modern viewer).
All good - many thanks. Would recommend.

i am very happy with this DVD 3 box set of the last house on the left it's well worth buying. if you are a big horror fan and love your classics this is one you should have and ebay is the right place to find it
This one of my favourite films ever! For sure, I can suggest it only to that people who wants to discover the gems of "New Horror" of the '70s, above all the American one! I've found this edition in an absolute casual way: I was looking for a special edition of this movie and I notice this 3dvd box set of "Last House on the Left". The greatest surprise was the fact that this is an english edition: a country that censored and banned this movie in every way, could really create such a perfect edition, I was wondering!! Answer: ABSOLUTELY YES, SIR!! I think that is a rare example of how a director to his debut, for sure with errors caused by inexperience behind the camera could be able to discover a style, maybe and entire sub-genre (Rape&Revenge, and also Slasher Movie). Love it or hate it, this is a milestone in horror/thriller ground: a real must for those who thinks "I've seen it all". WATCH IT AND AFTER SAY THAT!! I dare to say this is the best work by Wes Craven: yes, I know "Nightmare" is the most famous, but "Last House...." has something weird, primitive that the Freddy Kruger series has not!! Even, an hard moral lesson for the younger and older people. For example, notice the impotence of policemen and the violence of the gang...... For sure it's not a "easy watching" show: in some case, it could become some disgusting, but it's only (????) a movie........Vollständige Rezension lesen
Hailed by critics as one of the greatest horror movies of all time and now fully Uncut and Uncensored: dare you enter The Last House On The Left? Teenagers Mari and Phyllis stop off before heading to a concert in the city to score some grass when they are accosted by a group of thugs led by the reprehensible and deeply psychotic Krug. While Mari's parents are just a mile away preparing a party for their daughter, the two girls are subjected to the most terrifying ordeal imaginable. With his male and female cohorts, the monstrous Krug delivers a grueling catalogue of assault and depravity on the two girls that stretches the bounds of on-screen horror to its very limits. Only after the girls' suffering is ended does the enormity of their actions dawn upon the villainous gang. But for them the nightmare is just beginning: the house they happen upon to spend the night is one from which they may never leave alive. From master of horror Wes Craven comes a film so powerful, so shocking that it has never been permitted in its complete and uncut form in the UK... until now.
