Fast Shipping. However, the following issues were not declared in the Description of the item. The fasteners of the hood were broken and you cannot fit it on the front lens. It's loose and comes off. The 55-300mm lens did not come with the front cap and rear cap. I wished that I should have know before purchasing it. The senor had black dirts that were not stated in the description. The seller need to improve on item description.

I hit the big one with this gift!
I bought this camera for my gf and she loves it. Another reason is because Nikon is very user friendly and light weight. The D5200 features guide you through all aspects of use on the rear display. The rear display has a swing out view finder which is a very nice feature for video or still shots that are high, adjust the view finder so you can see and there you go! It shoots 4 frames per second (fps) or switch it to salvo (continuous shooting)! There is nothing she dislikes about the Nikon D5200. The price was great. I spent months researching all types of DSLR's and lens that are compatible, and there are many. If you are starting photography, this is the camera for you. Even if you are somewhat advanced, this is the camera for you. I do recommend buying the 55-200 lens or larger with a ... I bought this camera for my gf and she loves it. The RED Nikon D5200 is as fantastic & beautiful as the pictures it takes!
I got the Nikon D5200 to get back into photography. I had a Nikon SLR years ago and loved it but hated the hassle & expense of film development. With this camera being digital, it frees you to point and shoot any and everything, including movies. The picture quality is incredible. The camera is very easy to use. I like the movable display screen. I LOVE the RED case! Everyone that sees it loves it too! I highly recommend this camera to anyone that is ready for a new Digital SLR. Great camera and performance.
This is an excellent camera with more options then most people need, but the options are there when and if you start to experiment with is camera. This camera is not low end or high but is in the middle, which puts it at a comfortable level, recording VIDIOS is easy because of a well placed record button. I have TRYED many cameras and this is the best that I have used. I purchased the camera package which has about every accessory that you can think of to get you started, also this has nothing to do with performance but the red camera body is really sharp looking. This is my pick for a great camera and at a great price on E-BAY.This is an excellent camera with more options then most people need, but the options are there when and if you start to experiment with is camera. Slick sports car, but has some negative issues
This camera is very beautiful. Think flashy red sports car. However, the slick red exterior feels just a bit slippery. Like it will slip out of my hands. I am already getting used to it, but if a good grip is important to you, then you might like the black one better. UPDATE after using it for several months. The red color-though flashy and pretty, is a detriment when shooting close-ups. It can reflect a red color on the subject. I never would have thought of that as an issue. When shooting in manual mode, sometimes it doesn't expose correctly. It will shoot good photos and then a dark one. Also, it sometimes shoots twice instead once when taking a picture (setting is for single shot). I find the manual controls awkward, especially the Fstop. Fast switching is not possible for me ... Love our amazing new Nikon D5200 DSLR camera.
We love our new D5200 from Nikon. It was perfect for our recent vacation. We are still learning about all the things this new camera can do but on vacation discovered features like recording sound clips of the ocean right into the digital images of our cruise. I could see this being a great feature for parents taking live photos of their kids sports with a sound bite of the excitement captured forever. Or imagine using it when photographing a birthday party with all its excitement. The sound bite plays automatically whenever you view the photo.We love our new D5200 from Nikon. It was perfect for our recent vacation. We are still learning about all the things this new camera can do but on vacation discovered features like recording sound clips of the ocean right into the digital images of our cruise.
