Very Good C.D. !!! I have first glance ! and I Honestly Think ? This may be their Pinical Album ? ? Than I got Harder Faster !! Not as Good as Glance ? but " What I think is their silver medal album .! NOW?!! NATURE OF THE BEAST is Pretty Fetchin Good !! Many Hits !! and if you Pay Attention ? You probably will like the non Hits in between ? I and many of my fellow classic rock Nerds""!! Including Myself !! Agree that this was EASILY their Last GOOD Album !! PERIOD ... You will Luv Songs like FUTURE TENSE "" The Beast grows on you !! CHECK IT OUT ? Classic Rock From Canada !! BOE
Ah yes, the 80's....gone but not forgotten especially when you're a fan of this Canadian Rock Group. April Wine's Nature of the Beast starts with "All Over Town" and proceeds with "Tellin' Me Lies", "Sign Of A Gypsy Queen", "Just Between You & Me", "Wanna Rock" and 6 more tracks to give you 40 minutes of excellent music. April Wine's next CD was "Power Play" released two years after this CD and is just as good as "The Nature of the Beast." So check it out and enjoy some great Canadian music.
April Wine had their highest charting release. "Just between you and me" was their biggest hit. "All Over Town" received alot of airplay as well, they also did a rocked up cover of "Sign Of The Gypsy Queen". The cd is rockin from start to finish. Myles Goodwyn and the band set the bar on this one. Jerry Mercer on drums is a beast if you saw April Wine live you know what I mean.
