A review just wouldn't give these headphones any justice, but here goes. I'm a purist when it comes to sound. These M-100's tick...every...single...box. They look great, the frequency response allows you to 'sense and feel' the music (they sit on your ears comfortably for hours and manage to channel a complete set of sounds deep into you. It's just like being in a live session). 5Hz low end gives such a difference to what you hear and the high frequencies go beyong the human hearing range, but just add the magic that you can only sense. Or rather...feel. I'm going to buy a second pair as my worry is, these will be harder to obtain once everyone refers others to them. I have had dozens of headphones, but none I don't think, will ever beat these for the cost. Mark my words, you listen to your music with these and they'll be keepers until they fall apart, and with the build quality, that'll be a very very long time. I do not work for V-Moda or sell them. These headphones are awesome. Deep bass with balanced mids and accurate treble. Add poweful volume with no distortion, these phones have it all. Many people may call them basshead phones, but that would be an insult and a travesty. They can deliver neutral sounds if preferred, but I use a quality Marantz amp or headphone amp to bring out the incedibly deep, rich bass that is available. These headphones are money well spent. Innovative features and a hard shell carrycase make it value for money.

These are the business! - solid construction, high quality sound and good noise reduction as they are an over ear model. Particularly like this folding version and their carry case. Bought a pair for my son to use with LogicPro and he’s equally impressed.

Very nice and quality headphones but I have expected much more actually for such price. I have Pioneer bass head headphones and there is not much difference if there is any between V-Moda M-100 and my old Pioneer. And Pioneer was 4 times cheaper. V-Moda is better in comfort but the sound quality the bass are basically the same.

These headphones might not be for everyone, but if you like punchy bass with clear mid and highs, then vmoda m100 are The Headphones to get. Amazing sound and build like a tank, these headphones can take some abuse and then some more. I wish the headphone were bit lighter then again, then are made completely of metal and leather. Compact, strong, and amazing sound - cant go wrong with these.. Highly recommend.
