The Rockford Fosgate Punch P3D412 packs a powerful bass performance that redefines audio experience. The Rockford Fosgate car subwoofer works especially well with multi-subwoofer configurations. The dual voice coil design gives the user different options for wiring it to make the most out of the amplifier. It is a 1-way component car subwoofer with 500-watt RMS. With a mounting diameter of 11-inches, the top mounting depth of this 12-inch car subwoofer is 6.75-inches while the bottom mounting depth is 7.13-inches. The 2.5-inch dual voice coil of the Rockford Fosgate Punch P3D412 works off of double stacked ferrite magnets, which produce a 1000-watt peak power. Furthermore, the light weight and high strength come from the Kevlar fiber semi-pressed paper cones. The sealed, compressed, high excursion poly-ether-ester of the Rockford Fosgate car subwoofer makes the surround of the woofers tough, durable, and flexible. This 12-inch car subwoofer is designed for optimal heat dissipation to endure rigorous duty cycles and withstand harsh environments. Delivering high performance and tough power, the Rockford Fosgate Punch P3D412 is a high-end speaker built to satisfy rigorous user demands.

Hardest hitting longest lasting 12s at a price that wont break the bank !!
I bought a pair of these because I Have Purchased several Rockford Fosgate products in the past Including 2 P312D4 2005 Model 1000 watt and have always been pleased with The performance . . I have absolutely no complaints about any RF product Especially these Sub Woofers, They absolutely Pound . . They are quite an improvement over RF's previous model P3 12s these have about half the weight as previous p3 12s but all the performance . . . They are well worth what you pay for them and in the proper Size Enclosure ported or sealed they Beat Earthquake, Kicker, JL Audio and others Hands Down . . Rockford Fosgate P3D4-12 Punch P3 DVC 4-Ohm 12-Inch 600-Watt RMS
These subs hit hard and run well in a quality ported box. Cost is also very good runs with subs costing twice as much. I have a pair wired at 1 ohm with a KENWOOD KDC-X998 head unit and a Pioneer GM Digital Series GM-D9601 2400 Watt Monoblock Class D Car Amplifier pushing them. I did fill the box with some Pol-Fil.

amazing performance at a low price

Excellent sound and price!
I have this 12" sub in my 2012 Sonata in a ported 1.8 cu ft (recommended spec for this sub) being powered by a Kicker DXA1000.1 mono amp. The sub is wired for 2 ohms and the amp is on 50% gain. I also have Dynamat Xtreme lining the trunk. After all that, this sub vibrates my trunk lid (no license plate rattle). Easily one of the best 12" subwoofers for the money. I would only recommend 1 12" sub unless you're hooking up a multi amp system to power door speakers. Best deal for a very powerful subwoofer.
I couldn’t pass on this offer. You get the speaker and the box to put it in. Now all I need is the wires to strap this to the amp and connect everything. Can’t wait to hear how this sounds inside the trunk.
