Product Information

Players scrub up and prepare for virtual surgery in the Operating Room simulation brought Stateside by Atlus. The main gameplay in Trauma Center is akin to a high-tech version of the 1960s board game Operation; players use their DS stylus to apply anesthetic to, make incisions in, and remove failing body parts from their touch-screen patients. In light role-playing segments, away from the O.R., players will also need to demonstrate a decent bedside manner, to help their patients to keep a positive, curative attitude.

  • Trauma Center: Unique way to hone stylus skills

Trauma Center: Under the Knife is an interesting, unique and mildly challenging game that tests your accuracy with your stylus much more than your accumen as a rookie surgeon. The cases range from accident victims to patients suffering tumors and such, all in need of surgical intervention. Your sometimes friendly, sometimes cranky, surgical nurse guides you through the required tasks of the procedure, instructing you to use the game's various tools (magnifier/ultrasound, scapel, laser, drain, forceps, hypodermic needle, bandaging, etc.). You are judged on accuracy and alloted a number of "misses" for each surgery. Be careful when bandaging the patient following the procedure. You'll be harshly judged on whether you use too much, too little or crooked bandaging tape/gauze. This can be ...

  • Trauma Center : Under the Knife ( Nintendo DS )

Taking advantage of the Nintedo DS's touch screen, you are thrust into the world of Trauma Center, where you are a Rookie Doctor learning the ropes. You will perform a variety of different surgeries to save the lives of various patients. Overview - This game is very difficult to review, because quite simply there is so much to it that can't be written about, you just have to experience it. These surgeries are often intense and will get your adrenaline pumping, and when you fail a mission, the heartbreak you feel of not getting it done is something that cannot be described. This game gets incredibly intense at times, and it's rare to find a game where you get so immersed into the gameplay. The bottom line is this is an extremely fun, original game. If you are looking for a quality game ...

  • This game is why nintendo made the DS!!

Now first I have to be honest and tell you that I didn't do so well in this game. Secondly, I have to admit it wasn't the game's fault! Trauma Center is one of the few games that actually realizes the DS capabilities and uses them in the exact way I'm sure the system developers hoped they would be used. So what if screen shots from CSI make me squeamish, I was so into trying to save these patients I didn't even notice! The game has a good story line, quirky rememborable characters, and awesome gameplay. Trauma Center makes you use the stylus for everything from administering medications to making precise incisions and goes as far as letting you massage the heart. Medical minded or not, this game will pull you in and make you keep trying until you get it right!

  • Paging Dr. Stiles You Are Needed on Nintendo DS

Trauma Center for the Nintendo DS is one of the most fascinating games on the system. If you own a DS you must buy this game. It is fun and innovative and puts you into a position that many people rarely get to be in. You will enjoy the involving plot and the many tools that you use to save patient's lives such as the laser and the Healing Gel. The special ability Healing Touch allows you to save a person from near death, letting you feel like you accomplished something when you remove 20 pieces of glass, heal the lacerations, and sew up a bleeding heart in 5 seconds. Some of the operations can get difficult, but what do you expect when you are trying to save a life. I can tell you from experience, you will enjoy this game.

  • Yes, now this is a good game

Now this here is a good game. I Just got it but ive gotton threw a small ways of the game I think but Decent im sure been on it for about 2 hours total time from what my save records say. Anyway this game beats the hel1 out of the Lunar dragon song game Ill say that much, I just dont get why the Lunar ds game turned out so bad? All the others were great exept that one! Anyway this game is very good the only problem I have sometimes is the stitching pretty much because sometimes it doesnt read it when I touch the screen but I dont know Im still gettin the full swing of it but anyway very good game from what I have seen. I think this game will do very well I like it alot so far. This fourm should be on the front page to. They should put this on the front insted of that stupid Lunar dragon ...
