    A timeless classic

    I'm a big fan of the good ol' classic western movies, and few are more classic than this. It has the swearing unscrupulous bucktoothed villains, the dazzling yet self-protecting damsel in distress, and last but not least; the rather strange sharpshooting protagonist. I have yet to watch a bad Marvin Lee -movie, and this is without a doubt no exception. Actually, of all the ones to pick from, this is my favorite. This goes a tad beyond regular westerns; it has all the usual elements, plus a few humorous and to times peculiar ones. This piece of western art is fun for the whole family, even the graphic HD-craving youngsters will enjoy this one.     Cat Ballou is a gem! Everyone with a sense of humor should own a copy!

    Still a funny, well done movie. After 47 years it still stands equal to any modern movie made today. I stopped watching any of Hanoi-Jane's movies after '72, but Cat Ballou was done in '65 and I still love it. As well, knowing that Nat King Cole was dying while making the movie gives a poignancy to his great performance (along with Stubby Kaye's). And seeing Dwayne Hickman again (I loved "the Many Loves of Dobie Gillis"!)was icing on the cake. Lee Marvin won a BSA Oscar for his hilarious dual role, and as he was almost always a steel-eyed killer of men in his movie career, it was an amazing contrast and well done. That horse...!

    CLASSIC COMEDY MOVIE LEE MARVIN STEALS THE SHOW

    THIS IS ONE OF THESE TIMELESS WESTERN COMEDIES... JANE FONDA WAS A BABE BACK THEN (LIKE SHE ISN'T A BABE TODAY) LEE MARVIN PLAYS 2 CHARACTERS IN THE MOVIE, TWIN BROTHERS, ONE A DRUNK EX-GUNFIGHTER AND THE OTHER A COLD BLOODED EVIL COLD BLOODED KILLER WORKING FOR THE BAD GUYS... LEE STOLE THE MOVIE DUE TO HIS HILARIOUS PERFORMANCE... THIS MOVIE IS DEFINITELY A COLLECTIBLE FROM MY GENERATION BUT THIS MOVIE IS TIMELESS, MEANING ANY GENERATIONS WOULD LOVE IT IF THEY WATCH THE MOVIE... THE MOVIE IS PG SO KIDS COULD WATCH...     Love this movie

    Cat Ballou has long been one of my favorite movies, but i had it only in VHS. Now that I have it on DVD, I love it even more.

    Cat Balou

    This movie has been called a "Sleeper." However, it is one that will keep you laughing through the entire run time. There are some serious moments, but mostly comedy. Lee Marvin said at the acceptance of his Oscar, that, "The horse should have won instead." Lee Marvin and his horse are wonderful. This is probably the best movie that Jane Fonda ever had the opportunity to make bar none. This is the only movie that I have ever seen Jane Fonda truly use her acting skills. What a do not miss movie.
