Despite their differences, tai chi devotee Joe Edley (three-time tournament champion), stand-up comedian Matt Graham, gastrointestinally challenged Joel Sherman, and pot-smoking philanderer Marlon Hill all share an obsessive drive to win, along with unquestionably superior logic skills. While offering a humorous look at its participants, WORD WARS provides interesting comments on the cult of competition and preserving individuality in a conformity obsessed world.

    Word Wars

    Mainly I'm writing a review of this terrific documentary to point out to the first reviewer that this is a FILM not a "soft cover book" the reviewer probably read "Word Freak" and confused them... Both are excellent on both an entertainment and an information level.. even if you were not already addicted to the game, you'll find them both good fun.

    When is scrabble not scrabble. When it is in the form of a soft cover book. yes this book is great for all you scrabble buffs out there.
