So many people either don't remember, discount or don't give the Tony Martin era props. What a sad, sad world this is. People say Sabbath and most everyone immieditately thinks Ozzy, and ya, i'll give him his due, however, Ozzy is a showman, and vocally, in comparison to the likes of his other sabbath counterparts such as Dio, Gillan, Martin, & Hughes, Ozzy is a monotone clown. I highly recommend the entire Martin catalog of Sabbath gems, Tony Martin is one of the top metal vocalists to ever grace the stage. BRAVO! A+A+A+

An incredible album and an awesome debut for Tony Martin as lead vocalist.

I remember when seventh star came out and I thought it was the complete downfall of Sabbath. I myself could not bare listening to it. But I stayed faithful and origanally bought the Eternal Idol on Vinyl (yes it was that long ago) and I thought it was great. I have the whole album on my Ipod so believe me I'm really not giving the album up. But I really don't think the fans realized that the album came out until after the fact. It's officially the start of the Tony Martin era.
This is a highly overlooked Black Sabbath album. A very strong line up that delivers a true heavy sounding Sabbath album. Tony Immoi and Tony Martin work great together. Highly recommended.
