Book arrived on time, was packaged well and had no damage. Item was as described: Pages in very good condition with no marks or tears; cover and spine intact with no loose pages. Would buy from this vendor again. FYI: some people who've bought this same titled book elsewhere online, marketed by a different publisher, have rightly complained about errors in printing, etc.. With this publisher (Harper Collins) I found no repeated paragraphs on the same page or other mistakes. Hope this helps.

    Great Feuds in science

    This book tells of some of the most well known feuds in science. Some examples it has are Urban VIII vs. Galileo, Wallis vs. Hobbes, Newton vs. Leibniz, Voltaire vs. Needham, and Darwin’s Bulldog vs. Soapy Sam. This book gives historical background into the time in which the feuds occurred so that the reader can understand what people of that time thought and why the knew scientific idea had so many up in arms against the new ideas. Some of the feuds are still argued about today like Margret Mead and her observations of Samoa. Did she get mislead or not? This book is educational and also entertaining at the same time.
