Again, this sword is amazing for the price you pay for it. The blade I received was slightly bent at the tsuba; methinks the styrofoam packaging got bumped kinda hard during shipping and kinked it a little bit. And it's *DEFINITELY* not heat-treated; *very* slight use bends the tar out of it, and the rayskin is just a little sliver glued to the wood, only enough to show through the wrappings. But the tsuka was fairly well-fitted to the tang, it was actually installed with a pin to hold the two together, and the blade does indeed appear to be made of 1060 or so steel. And it's gorgeous. If you want a really clean look, I highly recommend the fully cane-wrapped saya, and the super-small tsuba they put on one of their straight "ninja" blades. I currently have my tsuka and fittings off of the blade right now, and am just waiting 'til I can get a heat treatment rig up and going. Because, really, that's the only thing holding this blade back.Vollständige Rezension lesen
