I bought this tuner because it was inexpensive. I'm surprised at how much I like it! Big digital LED letters and lights give my aging eyes a break. It will be great for gigs in the dark. The casing is sturdy. Tuning is accurate. There are 2 buttons on it I haven't figured out yet. I had a more expensive brand name tuner I sold a while ago. I like this less expensive one better.

Was on a tight budget but looking for a tuner pedal for my board. Went with this one after watching a couple of videos. Wasn't disappointed. The tuner has a very bright display, so easy to read under most lighting conditions. But what I like most is that it's got a very fast response time - as fast as Korg or some other higher priced tuners. Much faster than Behringer or other lower priced pedals. It also has the ability to tune from 336 to 445 by pressing a button (the unit will display 0 through 9 for your frequency, 0 being 440, 8 being 338 and 3 being 443 for example.) It also has a button for flat tunings. The only real negative were the screws on the bottom plate. They are round head and extend just beyond the base plate of the pedal. This can be an issue when taping the pedal to a board. Not sure it would be an issue with velcro, but had to stack a bit of the double sided mounting tape I use. Flat head screws would have been a better choice. As with all pedals, you will have to peel off the rubber feet when mounting to a board, and you will also have to remove the battery compartment cover - as the latch extends a bit. But none of this poses a real issue. The unit does feature 2 output jacks. One will mute the sound when the pedal is engaged (if you are using the pedal in front of a chain) and the other will still allow the signal through when the pedal is on. While I have this connected to a loop controller in my case, I'm still a fan of options and this is a nice choice to have. All in all, pretty solid little tuner pedal for a very affordable price.Vollständige Rezension lesen

I really, really like this tuner! I'm running three different guitar tunings (E, D, and B on a 7-string) and being able to tune on-the-fly while onstage makes things way simple. The display is nice and big, the ability to tap a button twice to hit two steps down to D is outstanding, the tuner is reasonably accurate, and sensitivity pickup catches the right string every time. My Korg is decent, but compared to this one, the bleed on the Korg is terrible! So that says a lot for the Monoprice tuner. It's also built to be stomped on and come out unscathed, which it does without fail. So yeah- you want a low-cost floor tuner for your guitar rig? Get this one. You won't be sorry.

Big bright readout, sturdy enclosure, pretty compact too. Quick response time. Seems accurate enough for jamming & live situations, though I don't think I'd use it for tech work (like setting intonation). If you want to Velcro it to a pedal board you'll have to remove the rubber feet and battery door, no biggie. For the money you won't find a better tuner pedal! 23 bucks well spent for sure.

This thing is built like a tank. Very good quality construction. It's also very accurate. It's not a super fast tuner, but it's great I every other way.
