Director Steven Rosenbaum compiles footage of the tragic September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on New York City and the ensuing several days for a chaotic, harrowing, and ultimately moving portrait of massive loss and how people cope with tragedy. Utilizing the work of no less then 27 independent filmmakers, 7 DAYS IN SEPTEMBER starts with the oft-seen footage of planes hitting the World Trade Center and the buildings' subsequent collapse. The subsequent footage, however, shows not only individuals expressing grief and sorrow, but also a city responding to catastrophe with determination and generosity. While certainly difficult to enjoy, this is a valuable document that is sure to evoke an emotional response.

    Never Forgetting!!!

    I work for the American Red Cross of Southern California and have been since 07/08/91. I work in the Blood Distribution Department. I can tell you that on that horiffic day, The towers came down on my day off. I was in an eye clinic where my neighbor was having eye surgery. When I was in the waiting room, the receptionist behind the glass had gotten a call. It was one of her friends that had been told that a friend of theirs was on a plane that had crashed into the first tower that got hit. The five of us thought that it was a small plane. But then we realized that it wasn't. I had to stay there so that my neighbor would allow me to drive him back home so that he could recover. When I arrived at work that day, our two main halls were crowded up with Americans that wanted to donate blood. ...

    Great and very fitting!

    I loved the heartfelf stories in the book from the people who lived it. I was at home on 9-11 and watched it minute by minute on the television and could not drag myself away. My sister called and told me to turn on the TV and I saw the second plane hit. It was so scary. My sister them asked if was in her shoes would I go get my child from school and head north. It was scary for me because she is my big sister and she always gives the advice and knows best. o The DVD gave wonderful coverage of everything that led up to that horrible day and tells exactly what the results were. It gives a permanent record that can shown to our children and grandchildren and their children and grandchildren! We can never allow something like this to happen to our people and our country again. We must not ...

    7 days in september dvd

    This movie was an EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF GREAT movie producing! It told the actual tale of what happened on 9/11 and showed all tha raw emotions & feelings ofEVERYONE that day without sugarcoating anything! was a PLEASURE to watch and I'm glad that I have this now in my collection of dvds! Will watch it with PRIDE everytime 9/11 rolls around! If u get a chance to buy this dvd DOIT!!!! You won't be dissappointed!

    7 Days In September

    excellent movie!!!!!!!!!1 bought the NewPhone 74205 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.
