One Of The Best Live Bands Of All Time
Great Show. All of the classic AC/DC you need. Very well filmed, from several cameras. The size if the crowd is HUGE. I have seen AC/DC live a couple times, and they never fail to bring it. I don't actually like seeing many bands live, because they just don't sound good live. Some bands change songs around, change lyrics, tempos..etc. AC/DC just rocks. No b.s., just straight-up, loud, Rock ! Sounds exactly like the CD, with mabey just a little "Live" sound. Very well recorded. I have Nothing bad to say about this concert dvd whatsoever. I often leave it in the dvd player, and kick it on when i have people over. Play it through the surround sound, and just let it go. Everybody has a favorite AC/DC song or two. More than I expected!!
This was a Christmas gift for my husband, and he was thrilled with it! As we move into our late 40's, this really brought back some of those old college & high school memories. We even got the added bonus that our 18 year old son, who is just learning to play guitar, loves it too. Go figure! The quality and clarity of this DVD is great. There are special features that let you follow just one band member through an entire song. Definitely would recommend this to any "old" rock fan, or a younger fan who wants to see how music should be made & played.This was a Christmas gift for my husband, and he was thrilled with it! AC/DC at their finest
This DVD is pretty great but not perfect because the actual audio of the concert sounds like a cross between live and their recordings and the "backstage" section of the DVD contains very little candid material other than almost 2 hours of audio commentary. Other than those small complaints however this DVD is outstanding because it features one of the hardest pounding hard rock bands in history in their prime at one of their largest shows ever. It's incredible to see them live and this video of them at Donington boggles the mind with how insane that show must have been. AC/DC, Still going strong!
This DVD features the band at one of the greatest points in their career. Brian Johnson's rough n raw voice, Angus Young's God-like guitar skills, Malcolm Young, One of the best guitarists who will be dearly missed. Cliff Williams, The best bass guitarist they've ever had, and Chris Slade, One of the most kickass drummers I have ever seen, But IMO will never topple Phil Rudd. A beautiful live concert right in your living room. You might want a good stereo for this.This DVD features the band at one of the greatest points in their career. Brian Johnson's rough n raw voice, Angus Young's God-like guitar skills, Malcolm Young, One of the best guitarists who will be dearly missed. Best ACDC Concert on DVD
To those ACDC fans out there, this DVD is a must have. I actually rented the DVD first before I decided to buy a copy. This DVD will have you locked in your seat for two hours. If you have a great Home Theater System, this DVD will put it thru a test. I have never heard any DVD concert that sounded this good. I have never seen any recorded concert that was so well put together. There was no expense spared when this concert was in its planning stage. The Company that produced, recorded and filmed this live footage deserve an award. I'm sure they have been awarded with massive sales and rental royalties of this concert DVD. Simply a mind boggling experience to watch. Get a copy and share it with your friends. Wayne in PATo those ACDC fans out there, this DVD is a must have.
