Absolutely phenominal. And the meals are great, too!
I would personally compare Nigella to Racheal Raye here in America. Until, of course, you read the biography of the things this poor beautiful creature has been through in her life. A heart-wrenching story, it is a tribute to those she loved so much that she can even function on a normal level, let alone to the heights she has attained. A truly gorgeous woman and a lovely and charming personality make Nigella Lawson one of the most interesting young women I have ever learned of. Her writing is just as if you were right next to her in the kitchen. Her meals are absolutely delicious, and not made with exotic ingredients that no one has in the pantry. A must have for the home cook and entertainer. Buy, buy, buy, her books are worth every penny.I would personally compare Nigella to Racheal Raye here in America. Another great Nigella Book
I brought this book to add to my Nigella Lawson cook book collection, I now have all the books she has printed and love every one of them. I just adore the recipes in this book, perfect for entertaining on any occasion. As well as the actual recipes Nigella writes little articles which make fascinating reading. I read so many excellent comments on her website blog about this book, so I thought I had better find out what everyone was raving about. Excellent book and well worth the money. Nigella has me hooked!I brought this book to add to my Nigella Lawson cook book collection, I now have all the books she has printed and love every one of them. Great book with a strong odor.
I am enjoying reading this book, as Nigella is smart, witty, and very funny in her story-telling. However, this particular copy smelled strongly of moth balls when I received it, and it has taken a couple weeks of airing out under a ceiling fan for me to spend any significant time with it near my nose. I've never experienced this, and hope that I won't ever again. Please be careful about storing books with stinky sweaters. I would buy another Nigella book, but maybe not from a thrift-store operation.I am enjoying reading this book, as Nigella is smart, witty, and very funny in her story-telling. Easy to follow recipies, Good Book!
I have made several of the recipies in this book and they turned out to be very good. Nigella Lawson is on the food network cable TV. I like that I can follow along with what Nigella is making and read the recipe in this book as she cooks the meals on TV. I can make my own notations while following along. I own several of Nigella Lawson's cookbooks. My family loves her meals.
