    A thoroughly good read!

    Durrells first three books in one volume....I thought I was getting three separate paperbacks, but that was my fault....I obviously didn't read the description properly ....However, no problem. Read these many years ago and delighted (inspired by current TV series) To read again. Funny, charming and informative, you will enjoy these books.

    Leisure Enjoyment

    This book is great for relaxing and following a wonderful family's life, through a young boy's point of view after they've relocated to Corfu. Be prepared for in-depth information about all of the creatures Gerald encounters and tries to keep in or near their home. He becomes very knowledgeable about them and seems to relish in sharing all of the minute details about them with his readers. The rest of the family members are each unusual in their own way and add additional charm to the story, as well as the interesting people they meet from the city of Corfu.

    Great read! Draws you right into the story.

    Love the variety of characters that Gerry meets on his adventures on the Island. His description is very amusing of his family too. This book really gives a taste of Corfu before it was commercialised. Young Gerry brings the animals alive with his description of their antics, making it interesting and informative as well as a darn good read!

    Happy with it!

    Great quality, a few marks on the back but i was warned before i bought it, good size, has all three books in it, great product overall!

    Delightful books

    Absolutely delightful set of books; been meaning to read them for years. A slight disadvantage to have all three in one volume ( big and heavy) but I am sure I will thoroughly enjoy them. I have certainly enjoyed the first 60 pages!
