    the book was not to my standard acceptable. some very stained pages. I have bought many previously owned cookbooks from other sights without this problem. frequently leave my books out to browse.

  • Great Book if you are learning to bake bread

    I am trying to learn to bake my own breads and saw this featured on a few you tube videos and figured I would give it a shot. It's incredible. Very detailed in explaining how to do what you need to do. I haven't mastered bagels yet but I'm working on it! :)

  • The Bread Bible by Rose Levy Beranbaum (2003)

    I love this book! Rose takes the reader/user on a journey, step by step, from basic ingredients to gorgeous finished products. She used weights to measure her ingredients and after once getting used to this, the reader realizes that no matter what the conditions, the product will always turn out the same. This method is more concise than the usual 1/4, 1/2, cups, tsp. etc. But Rose does give you the equivalent of the measurements if you would rather use the American versions of measurement. I am lucky enough to now have all of her books and this is most certainly a bible. It will lead you through the bread making baking process with awesome results. I especially like the fact that there are MANY different types of recipes in this book. The brioche is awesome! I enjoy the fact that Rose ...
