I got this putter almost 2 months ago and it is a great putter. I had a Ping Anser 2 putter (blade style putter) before. The reason I bought it was my old putter wasn't consistent enough and I didn't like the feel of it when it hit the ball. The White Hot XG 2-Ball SRT is a heavy putter (compare to my old putter), but the weight feels nice and it has a very soft touch when it hits the ball. Since I bought it, I cut off about 2 strokes off my score as I'm hitting my line more consistent and making longer putts now. My handicap is a 7, but this putter can help out any golfer. I would recommend anyone that like the mallet style putter to at least try this putter out. It will improve your game and gives you confidence on the greens. I haven't found anything that I don't like about it yet. The only thing that could be a bad thing is the price, but it is well worth it and you can find affordable ones out there.Vollständige Rezension lesen
Well, this is putter number 12 in my career. I have always used blade putters before, but I did not feel like struggling to get in a long putt. I decided to purchase this putter because it has some beef to it and this putter is so well balanced. I have have been putting in my basement for the past three months, due to the 15 inches of snow outside. I can not wait until the first sight of a green is visible, so I can try out this amazing putter. The condition of the putter was just great and the value is there. (Here is to lower scores ~/)
IVE BEEN PLAYING FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS, AND THIS VERSION OF THE 2 BALL IS VERY VERY GOOD!! I HAD THE ORIGINAL 2 BALL. IT WAS A NICE PUTTER, BUT IM A TYPICAL GOLFER AND I ALWAYS THINK THE GRASS IS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE. ANYHOOO, AFTER THE 1ST ORIGINAL 2 BALL I WENT THROUGH A BUNCH OF PUTTERS, AND AFTER A FEW YEARS I ENDED UP WITH THE SRT VERSION. I HAVE THE WHITE HOTT VERSION. I DIDNT CARE TO MUCH FOR THE WHITE STEEL MODEL, IT FELT TOO HARD FOR ME, NOT ENOUGH FEEL. BUT THE WHITE HOTT IS PERFECT. SOFT BUT NOT MUSHY, AND ITS A TAD BIGGER THAN THE ORIGINAL 2 BALL. ITS VERY STABLE WITH THE ADDED SIDE RINGS, AND INSTILLS CONFIDENCE OVER THE BALL, AND IT IS STILL VERY EASY TO LINE UP. I THINK THEY STOPPED MAKING THE SRT VERSION, BUT THERE ARE PLENTY ON EBAY. THEY ALSO HAVE A NEW VERSION OF THE 2 BALL, ITS THE TOUR BLACK SERIES FOR 300.00 BUCKS. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GET THE SRT VERSION FOR A THIRD OF THE PRICE!!Vollständige Rezension lesen
I have been using a Scotty Cameron Squareback No. 1 for about a year now and always had problems pushing putts well past the hole. I decided to try a putter with an insert rather than a milled face and couldn't be happier. I putted much better the last few times out and even holed a few that I wouldn't have come close to with the Scotty. The feel is a lot better and I love the weighting of the putter. One of the most important things to remember is tbat everyone has different tastes so if you don't try everything out for yourself you are doing yourself a disservice.
If you have trouble with those little short putts i recommend a belly putter! They are very stable and easy to use. Just anchor it in your belly and swing away. They are a little tougher to get the speed right on the longer putts, but nothing that can't be fixed with a little practice. Anyways I love it. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
