It's 2050. The evil Raggosians have unleashed a ruthless bacteriological attack upon Earth. Extinction has become a genuine concern for the human race. It's up to you in your spaceship, The Tempest, to rectify the situation. <br><br>In To the Earth, the salvation of the human race lies in your hands. Use your light gun to shoot down countless enemy ships as you travel the far reaches of the solar system to such planets as Uranus, Saturn, and Jupiter. And every shot counts. While you get extra energy for your ship every time you shoot down an enemy craft, you'll lose energy every time you miss or get shot. Your game ends, of course, when your ship runs out of energy. Occasionally, you'll be able to use a smart bomb, which will eliminate every enemy on the screen. You can even get a barrier shield by shooting a comet. You'll need such extra help in order to defeat all enemies, especially the bosses you'll confront at the end of each of the four stages. Your final battle will be against a mysterious alien entity known as Nemesis. You must do all you can to make sure he himself does not make it To the Earth.

Very challenging
This game, as many others for the classic Nintendo, is very challenging. The enemy ships move VERY quickly into and away from the screen and your accuracy and reaction time must be excellent to beat the levels. At first I didn't like that there is very little music, but it seems to really reinforce the "space" theme, and overall it is a well put together game. Most people will not like it however in an age of games with easy, almost impossible to lose first levels and gradual difficulty increases targeted at 6 year olds. This game is hard from the first ship. If you are up for a challenge, you will enjoy this game.This game, as many others for the classic Nintendo, is very challenging. classic NES Light gun shooter
I love the old light gun series for the classic NES! There is just something about "shooting" a gun and seeing you enemies explode into pixelated oblivian. This isn't the best game on the list but it really tried to create an outer-space shooting atmosphere as opposed to the standard ducks, or cans, or targets scenes. I know that in the Wii age this technology isn't so impressive but if you are over 25 I can recommend this game to take you back to a time when you're accuracy with a pistol was as important as saving a princess ;)I love the old light gun series for the classic NES! Good fun!
I think this game is good fun. Very challenging. My heart rate goes up a little when playing as I get dive bombed from alien space craft. It's going to take some time to beat it. Always up for the challenge!

Challenging and engaging NES game.
Really I’m underrated light gun game hard but in a way that makes you want to do better. Need a CRT TV to play.
