VERRYY INTRESTING AND REALL!!!!
I have not read a book on my own for about 8 years. I am currently a college student. Even when teachers at elementary, junior high, high school, and even sometimes at college assigns us to do work or read books i still hardly do. Just enough to get by. But this book, i finished in 5 days. I read every line w/o skipping around. This book is very intresting and lets us into what Dennis ha to go through throughout his life before and during the NBA. I was intrested in buying this book because of how crazy dennis was on the court, and i looked up to his "no backing down" attitude. I watched videos of him diving for the balls, fighting people bigger than him, and also him actually going after shaq(but got held back by his teamates). There are many fones out there in the league currently. People like to say Rodman is a Fag and etc.. But players also want to model their games after him. Artest, claims he wants to be like RODMAN thats why he chose #96(that # represents his "hood" and its close to dennis #). Ben Wallace tries to model his game after Rodman. Artest wants to be like dennis but choked just like David Robinson when Artest had his chance to show how crazy he was when Ben Wallace pushed him, instigating the Palace of Auburn Hills fight. Artest was scared of BEN and didn't want any part of him. But when a fan(white boy 1/3 his size) thew a drink at him, he did not hesitate to run after him and beat him up. Do You call that a real man? Backing down from Big Ben and chasing after a guy 1/3 your size. That was Artest chance to show how crazy he supposedly is but choked when he had the chance just like how David Robinson choked in the playffs. Instance #2. Carmelo wants this thug image for himself. But he had a chance during the brawl against the knicks. He threw a cheap shot at Mardy Collins and then cowardly ran away. That was Carmelo's chance. Everybody wants an image like they are crazy and be a true "man". The thing people don't realize is that Dennis Rodman is soo damn real. He doesn't back down from shaq, Start shit with anybody and he does it within himself. Everything he does is natural and isn't an act. To me he is the a true "Man" that everybody else wants to be unlike the fones that deny it.

This is the 2nd time that I've read this book and again, I was very interested to read about Dennis Rodman's wild ride in the NBA. From his childhood in Dallas to playing college ball in a small Oklahoma NAIA school to being 1 of the Detroit "Bad Boys". The chapter about dating Madonna is by far the craziest in the book. I would definately recommend this book to any sports fan that likes to read about athletes and how they got where they are.This is the 2nd time that I've read this book and again, I was very interested to read about Dennis Rodman's wild ride in the NBA. From his childhood in Dallas to playing college ball in a small Oklahoma NAIA school to being 1 of the Detroit "Bad Boys". The chapter about dating Madonna is by far the craziest in the book.
