I like Thrillville: Off the Rails (wii) because it has alot of coasters to build and explore! Creating characters is fun and you can even use them in the gameplay mode as "manager". There are tons of Carnival rides, Games, and Stalls to build and research. The only bad thing is that some of the mini game rides are hard and the graphics arn't the best... Hmm, I would also have to say you don't build your park from scratch so that kind of stinks but other than that it is fun and recommended!
If you like the Roller Coaster Tycoon series this game will be good for you. You get to manage a park and build roller coasters. Graphics can have a slow change over to next thing like moving from one part of the park to another or going from walking around to playing a game. Fun game for those who like roller coasters. Be careful though if you have motion sickness or can not handle a lot of spinning motions then do not get this game. There is a first person view for the spinning games and since I have motion sickness I have to look away at those parts.
Just had to give kudos to this game when I saw this review spot. I'm in my 40's and this game is one of my personal favorites (rivaled only by Rayman Ravin' Rabids). It's also a favorite with my church youth group kids. There's soooooo many games to choose from in Thrillville that there's something they (well, okay, WE) can ALL enjoy. Since four players can compete at once, it's the best group-buy game I've seen. Really, really love it – can u tell? LOL. It's the ultimate! It's like living in a theme park with every ride and game intact... right in my living room! I hope they make more like this one!!
My son is 10, my daughter is 4, and I am 27. And I have to say that this game THRILLS us all. We each build theme parks and compete to see who has the longest drops on their coasters or who is making the most money! We love it. My daughter likes to make the racing track and then race her go cart on it. The allows your imagination to design the park with almost no limitations. A must - for good, clean fun the whole family can enjoy! The only thing that is difficult is when you try to get feedback from the customers who are walking around the park you have to get in just the right spot to get them to stop for you. It can be a little frustrating but after a few hours of playing, it becomes less of a task.
My grandchildren love this game. They love being able to creat their own rollercoasters, stands, games, etc. It is pretty cool. You can create your own person, talk to people in the theme park, sell, buy, and create items in the park. The mini games are fun too. The only con I see is that it is only a one player game, but all in all I'd say it is a great game for any member of the family. I even enjoy it.
