Parisorkestern 1949 constituted the best and brightest stars of that era's Swedish jazz musicians. Nonetheless, everything else about Swedish Jazz All Stars is highly enjoyable. The five Cupol studio sides are strong, with Babs' warm and personable performance of "Blue Prelude" being a standout.
