2nd attempt at original Police Quest series.
I was attempting to purchase the original Police quest series. I have Kings Quest, and Space Quest on my personal laptop, and I love the memories, and how easy they were to install. I wanted the original police quest collection, not the SWAT, to also put on my laptop. Not only can I not play SWAT series due to not being compatible with the requirements for SWAT, I can not find an advertisement on Ebay, that does not advertise as the original collection, and then you end up with SWAT. But you cant have them all, and I understand. If the original collection becomes available, in the same format I got for Kings and Space quest collection, minus SWAT, id love to know. Either way, I will be trying to save up for a cheap gamer pc in the future, and hopefully will be able to play SWAT ... I was attempting to purchase the original Police quest series. Older graphics....poor quality game
I bought this for myself...I am an avid true crimes buff and thought it looked awesome and soundend fun. It is NOT fun and the graphics suck. I spent forty minutes just trying to figure out a game that looked as though it was a guide you along style game. I could not get anywhere off the first round... Even when I would start a new game, one of the rooms if you go in it, you can't get out and you cant go forward....Simply to difficult a game with such poor instructions and pitiful graphics.... This gme gets 2 thumbs...DOWN and a flat 1 on the 1 to 10 scale...My advice, don't waste your moneyI bought this for myself...I am an avid true crimes buff and thought it looked awesome and soundend fun. A great revival of a classic favorite
This revival of the classic Police game of the 90's brings all the fun, adventure, and excitement of the original game; without, the secret codes and other detractions we used to have to put up with. It runs on Windows XP and I'm told on Vista also. Great graphics and action, considering this was written BEFORE there was a Pentium computer, and a gigabyte of ram was unheard of. Not obsessed with blood, gore and profanity like the so-called games of today, this game is fun to play. Police Quest is a must have.
If you are into the old pc games. The Police quest series is a must to own. It's one of Sierra's best products they came out with. Sierra revolutionized the gaming industry. I was never disappointed with any of Sierra's games. You must give credit where credit is due. Without these types of games, we probably wouldn't be where we are today.
