A great book at an exceptional price for all Trek fans
I bought this book because I'm a Star Trek fan in long standing and a shade tree mechanic on my own time. I have a lot of Haynes manuals for various cars, so I thought it was unique that they made one for the Enterprise. Therefore being of both worlds, I had to have a copy for myself just to satisfy my curiosity. The price was excellent for a hardcover book, so it was ordered. When it arrived I showed it to my parents, and they both liked it immensely. My uncle, being a Star Trek fan also, would have loved it also. So as a result, I purchased one for him as a future Christmas present. All the pictures in the book are in sharp color and in great shape. I was totally satisfied with both purchases, and would recommend this product to any Star Trek fan who reads other Star Trek descriptive ... Star Trek USS Enterprise Haynes Manual
Sure to please the most avid Trekie. I think this book must have started out as almost a joke but is any thing but... lavishly illustrated, fantastic cutaway drawings, you can get lost in here for hours... And what enjoyable hours they will be. The title is almost a bit misleading as much more than the Enterprise is covered in here... One of the nicest Trek books you will ever have in your library... Very cool...Sure to please the most avid Trekie. Not really a Haynes Book
I thought it would be more like an actual Haynes manual with step by step repair instructions on the systems of the Enterprise but really it just had some cut away views, screen captures and publicity photos.
