Oh please lighten up!!!
Look, If you are going to bash the movie. Just take a real ggod look at the movie genre in general. A bunch of guys dressed up in suits! Paa-leeese!! This movie was never about de-frocking or belittling the grandious stature of the mighty Godzilla. In fact it really wasn't about Godzilla at all. This ia a kids movie version that involves not only Godzilla and his son Minya,(and yes, he can talk- remember guys wearing suits) but also all of the various monsters that had already been introduced to a generation growing up with these movies. It is a fantasy, Wow! of a kid that thinks that he can somehow emulate the lessons learned thru his special pal Minya. I gotta say that Minya dosen't really take after his dad. But anyways it for the child in all of us. Don't be to down ... Look, If you are going to bash the movie. Just take a real ggod look at the movie genre in general. Simply Put: Godzilla Fans Will HATE THIS!
It's bad enough that we get ridiculed for liking a ridiculous staple in Japanese culture, but do we really have to endure the likes of this film. This is one of two (or more, depending on how you look at it) of Godzilla films that really make a mockery of the King of Monsters. Where's the crumbling city? Where's the army doing everything in their power to cease the senseless destruction of their country? Where's the fierce monster battles? NOWHERE! This movie takes Godzilla and turns him into a large, reptile version of Mickey Mouse. It's about some doofy little kid in tight shorts who day dreams he spends time on Monster Island with Godzilla's son - who can speak English! Wow - that would be flaw number one. What proceeds to follow is this kid learning how to ... The only reason anyone would watch this is to laugh their butt off hysterically at how poorly executed this film is. EVERYONE should avoid this...ESPECIALLY Godzilla and monster movie fans.

Still a great movie to watch!
My grandchildren really love watching this move, The same movie i watched as a child.

Very Good
It’s not the best Godzilla film, but as far as the product itself is concerned, it’s very good. It ran great and there was no damage to the disc or package.
